The Green Apprenticeship Permaculture and Ecological Design Training Course in Israel
Join them for a 4 week practical training program in hands-on sustainable engineering, systems design and cooperative living. They will be learning about the designing, building and running of sustainable projects, linking together ecological, social, economic and cultural aspects into a unified whole. Together, participants will develop skills through hands-on work in our environmental education center, organic gardens, and alternative/natural building projects.
Students live in the EcoCampus, a prototype low-impact sustainable neighborhood featuring beautiful hand-crafted earth and straw bale domes on Kibbutz Lotan in Israel’s southern Arava, a desert oasis. At the end of the course participants receive an internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certification.

In the inspiring setting of Cloughjordan Ecovillage, the team behind Global Green at the Electric Picnic, Cloughjordan residents, and Extinction Rebellion have collaborated with the aim of creating an off-grid celebration of regenerative culture.

Permaculture Design Course in Cloughjordan Ecovillage, Ireland
This 10-day Permaculture Design Course is organised by Cultivate in association with Cloughjordan Community Farm and Sustainable Projects Ireland and based in Cloughjordan Ecovillage. This unique course location was designed using permaculture, which allows students to see the design principles in action within a lively and diverse community.
The EcoVillage features over 50 eco-homes, a renewable energy heating system, wood-fired bakery, a community farm & our permaculture course centre – WeCreate Workspace and FabLab.
