“At Traditional Dream Factory, we believe a burn is not a festival or an event, it’s a way of life. The TDF Burn Residency is your invitation to live the ten principles for an entire month, creating authentic burner culture that extends far beyond a weekend gathering.
As an artist or creative we’d love to hear your ideas on what you’d like to create. Leading up to the Abela Art Faire in the final week of October, this is an opportunity to co-create with the raw beauty of the land, inspire spirit, reflection and emotive being through the experience you bring. Rather than being a stand-alone event, it’s an artistic integration process, an invitation to ground the ephemeral magic of burn life into something lasting.
What does this mean? We are looking for artists who want to commit to live and work with us for the month of October, with special interests in large scale installations, documentary film, and experiential space creation. We have a budget to work with depending on the needs of your proposal.
