Los Portales is a community that traces its story back to Brussels, Belgium in 1984. It is located an hour away from Seville in Spain, the community is made up of around thirty people living in four buildings among an immense 700-acre plot of mountainous land.

United in their desire to find a way of life in accordance with their understanding of happiness at the heart of nature, the residents of Los Portales are known for their work realising their dreams.

Every day, the community comes together to exchange their ideas and dreams, and to attempt to decipher the mystery of the subconscious.

As well as living off their large permaculture vegetables plots, Los Portales also makes its own bread, olive oil and cheeses.
