Re-green: permaculture and yoga retreats in a natural paradise in Greece

Re-green is a cultural eco-centre in the Peloponnese, Greece. Since 2012, this eco-community of currently six residents has been organising workshops on permaculture and plant-based medicines as well as yoga retreats.

Before arriving at Re-Green, you must follow the roads through luscious green mountains for an hour. This is a natural paradise, where you can disconnect from the stress and pollution of the city.

A little village in the middle of the mountains

In only five years, the co-founders Flery and Christos, with the help of volunteers, have restored some of the houses of the semi-abandoned village to provide its visitors with a luxurious setting at only a small ecological impact.

Other houses and ruins in the surrounding area are still waiting for new residents!

The PDC: Permaculture Design Course

Re-green offers the Permaculture Design Course: a theoretical and practical course that lasts twelve days, teaching the principles of permaculture. It includes all of the components to teach a holistic approach to a sustainable way of life that respects the environment.

Yoga and plant-based medicines

Amber, a yoga instructor, left Australia three years ago to join the adventure. She now coordinates the events and the retreats with Flery, a specialist in plant-based medicines, to show the visitors a way of life in harmony with nature.

City-dwellers from around the world come here to disconnect, meditate and to take a step back.
